First Burdy began to DJ back in 1993, initially house music but through a residency at 'The Room' club in Hull, moved on to DJing Hip-Hop, Abstract Beats and Blunted Techno.
In late 1994, started recording as one half of Baby Mammoth on Pork Recordings with Mark Blissenden, releasing a debut album in August 1996. To date, with the release of "Octo Muck" in 2004, there are 8 albums by Baby Mammoth, and numerous remixes, most notably for G-Stone's "Tosca".
These days Burdy DJ´s in a more up-tempo style, beats of all kinds, Nu-Jazz, Breaks, House etc.... things not normally associated with his previous work.
Burdy now lives in Perth, Australia and the Suite Musique crew are ecstatic that he's joined the collective. He's been releasing solo material with Austrian based label "Sunshine Enterprises" but now will be releasing his new material with Suite Musique. His track on the Beach Suite compilation, "Running To A Standstill", is so far an exclusive track to the label and compilation.
